MicroMain Corporation, a leading provider of asset and facility management software and services, today announced new nation-wide regional training classes.
Driven by customer requests, the new regional training was implemented in response to customers who were not able to take advantage of classes at the company’s Training Center in Austin, Texas. Regional training provides more available dates for training as well as easier access for MicroMain users. Considering the current economy and most business’ shrinking travel budgets, MicroMain’s regional sessions allow users to save on travel and still get the knowledge they need.
“Our goal is our customers’ success and training is a big part of that,” said Karen Roller, Vice President of Services at MicroMain. “With more dispersed training locations, we are providing more training options and helping our customers save time and travel expense.”
Regional training classes cover the same information as MicroMain’s staple basic training course, simply in a classroom setting closer to a user’s home. The two-day training sessions include an overall scope of MicroMain’s Maintenance Management software—including a review of data structure, facilities, assets, preventive maintenance tasks, work orders and reporting. Attendees receive hands-on experience with the program as well as the availability of a skilled MicroMain trainer to answer all of their questions.
MicroMain is targeting large, easily accessible locations as host cities for the regional training. Classes, some of which have been sold out, have taken place in Chicago, Baltimore, Cleveland and Minneapolis. More cities are being added in response to customer requests.
“We’ve had users attend from a few miles away to a few states away,” said Roller. “MicroMain users are definitely taking advantage of these new training locations, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the attendance and positive feedback.”
