By setting up suppliers inside your maintenance database you will have convenient access to contact and ordering information as well as a list of parts and/or services they provide to your organization.

If you use your MicroMain system to generate and track Purchase Orders, you will be able to quickly browse through your purchase history with each supplier. You can also associate a supplier with an asset, such as a piece of equipment, which is helpful if you need to repair or replace that asset.

Once you are able to see how much business you are doing with each supplier, you can to use that information to save money by requesting volume discounts or more favorable payment or delivery terms.
