MicroMain Asset Tracking helps you efficiently track and manage assets. With the use of a tablet PC, you can inventory assets, record the condition of an asset, and capture meter and/or gauge readings to ensure your maintenance database is accurate and up-to-date.
Watch Your Assets
From a tablet PC equipped with Asset Tracking, you can capture asset data on location and wirelessly sync that data with your maintenance database. Asset Tracking allows you to:
- Add new assets
- Access asset records by name, property, control number, or type
- Use barcodes for simplified and accurate access to records
- Update asset inventory counts
- Track asset inventory dates
- Change the location of an asset
- Record meter/gauge readings
- Record/update the asset’s condition
How’s Your Health?
Using a numerical rating system of your choice, Asset Tracking allows you to assess and record the condition of one or more of an asset’s physical properties. For example, you could use a scale of 1-10 to indicate the condition of hoses, belts, fluids, etc. or an asset’s general appearance. Similarly, you can create a field for overall condition, used as an early warning system that the asset may need an overhaul or to be replaced.
Stay on Track and Be Alert!
With Asset Tracking, you can set up specifications in your maintenance database to let you know when a usage-based PM is due, when calibration is required, or when an asset is operating out of spec. You can also generate transaction logs and other reports, including an asset inventory report.
