Increased Functionality for Barcode-enabled Asset Tracking
(April 26, 2002) AUSTIN, TX - MicroMain Corporation, developer of facility operations and maintenance software and solutions, today announced its release of version 5.1 of msATRAK™ – its integrated, barcode enabled asset tracking program – part of the MicroMain Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) MS2000™ suite.
msATRAK allows users to track the location of all facility and organization assets using a Palm® compatible barcode scanner, and transfers data into MS2000’s comprehensive database, streamlining facility management operations.
Feature enhancements in this new release include expanded functionality for updating an asset’s meter/mileage reading, the ability to track assets without scanning barcodes, adding work order comments to asset history forms and their maintenance history reports and enhanced user interface functionality and options.
