MicroMain Is Awarded New Contract with National Institutes of Health
MicroMain Joins Industry Leaders to Provide Services for NIH Real Property Management Office
(October 26, 2008) AUSTIN, TX - MicroMain Corporation, a leading provider of asset and facility management software and services, announced the award of a new contract with the National Institutes of Health. MicroMain and industry leaders Nangwik Services LLC, MSC Industrial Direct Co., Inc. and Legatus6 were awarded a competitive 8(a) IDIQ contract with potential value of $100Million dollar in September 2008 through the National Institute of Health (NIH) to provide all activities necessary to deliver facilities-related materials, supplies, and equipment to the NIH Real Property Management Office and its customers.
The facilities-related deliverables include: sourcing and supplying facilities-related equipment, materials, and other items for five NIH campus locations and operating and maintaining one warehouse located on the Bethesda NIH campus. Additional deliverables include hosting and maintaining an NIH website for ordering items; providing product identification and special services support, when requested, to support NIH clients who are purchasing the items; and conducting physical inventories, when requested, of NIH-owned items.
