October 23, 2001) Austin, TX - The maintenance processes at the Dallas, Texas American Airlines Center, the most technologically advanced arena in the country, are now completely automated with
the implementation of MS2000™ - the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
developed by MicroMain Corporation. MS2000 manages the maintenance of such highly technical
facility operations as the patented, retractable seating system that reduces the conversion time between hockey and basketball floor configurations.

American Airlines Center, located in Dallas, Texas, is the new home of the NHL Dallas Stars and the NBA Dallas Mavericks

"Certainly with a facility of this size and scope, our maintenance efforts are essential now and into the future," says Bob Jordan, Director of Operations at American Airlines Center. "MS2000 provides us a fully automated solution for managing everything from work orders to inspections, preventive maintenance and reporting requirements."

American Airlines Center is the new home of the NHL Dallas Stars and the NBA Dallas Mavericks with the latest available amenities for sports and entertainment including five concourses, 146 luxury suites and room for 20,000 fans. The facility anchors the mile-long, 72-acre Victory development that will house up to eight million square feet of entertainment, shopping, businesses and homes.

From extensive electrical assets including the eight-sided, 75,000-pound scoreboard and widespread digital signage to pervasive high-tech sound systems and the Mavericks state-of-the-art practice facility, there are thousands of maintenance details within American Airlines Center, according to Jordan.

"Computerizing inventory systems and streamlining maintenance processes are key to successful operations, "says Jordan. "MicroMain gives us that ability with MS2000."

MS2000 provides users automated tools for storing and tracking facility maintenance data and utilizing that data to maximize efficiency and productivity, according to Joe Brummer, VP of Marketing at MicroMain Corporation.

"Our customers use MS2000 to reduce their overall maintenance budgets, increase labor productivity and modernize their maintenance management processes," says Brummer.
