MicroMain Announces New Director of Development
(July 11, 2006) AUSTIN, TX — MicroMain Corporation, a leading provider of asset and facility management software and services, today announced the promotion of David Tarver to Director of Development.
Previously Senior Software Developer, Tarver will provide leadership for the development department, managing all development projects as well as developing software, assessing project requirements, and researching technologies.
“With over eight years of experience at MicroMain, David Tarver will provide the type of leadership we need as we expand our product offerings,” said Pat Conroy, President of MicroMain. “We welcome him to the management team.”
Tarver spearheaded the recent development and release of MicroMain CM™, the company’s capital planning and asset management software. With this product launch, MicroMain became the only major computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) vendor to provide an integrated suite of CMMS, computer aided facility management (CAFM), and capital planning and asset management (CPAM) products.
“It is an exciting step for the company as a new player in an established market,” Tarver said. “I’m looking forward to helping MicroMain reach additional customers with capital planning and other new software offerings this year.”
Tarver is currently leading the development of MicroMain’s .NET-based CMMS. Additional projects related to the company’s flagship MicroMain XM™ CMMS and MicroMain FM™ CAFM system are also currently in development.
