New HelpDesk Software Expands MicroMain’s
Maintenance Management Offering
MicroMain HelpDesk Streamlines Work Request Routing
(June 30, 2008) AUSTIN, TX - MicroMain Corporation, a leading provider of asset and facility management software and services, today announced the release of MicroMain™ HelpDesk, new work request routing software used with MicroMain’s maintenance management program.
“Instead of handling maintenance requests on the fly, MicroMain HelpDesk allows organizations to centralize submissions and ensure proper handling,” said Joe Brummer, Executive Vice President with MicroMain. “With this new software, our users can screen work requests and determine the appropriate action, including responding to emergencies, routing specialized requests to the right personnel, and prioritizing requests and work orders.”
With MicroMain HelpDesk, staff receive requests through email, telephone, walk-in, or electronic submission with MicroMain Web Request. By receiving all work requests in one place and reviewing for complete information, help desk staff can be sure all needed information is collected before creating a work order or dispatching a technician.
Requesters using MicroMain Web Request enter their work request and all required information electronically; this data automatically populates the appropriate fields in HelpDesk, further increasing the efficiency in routing the work request and providing the needed service promptly. With HelpDesk, all requesters can receive work order status reports related to their requests.
