MicroMain Announces 2007 Users Conference
Users Will Benefit from Expanded Offerings and Post-Conference Training Course
(June 19, 20076) AUSTIN, TX – MicroMain Corporation, a leading provider of asset and facility management software and services, today announced that its 7th annual Users Conference will be held October 30-31 in Austin, Texas. To kick off the conference, a welcome reception for all users and guests will take place Monday evening, October 29.
When a special two-day training course was added last year to follow the Users Conference, it quickly sold out. This year MicroMain will be able to accommodate more users who wish to take advantage of the post-conference training course; this course provides two days of in-depth basic training on the MicroMain™ computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Discounted training fees will be offered to users attending both the two-day course and the Users Conference.
In addition to the post-conference training, MicroMain will provide a variety of training formats during the Users Conference. Users can choose among large-session educational presentations, smaller-group training sessions, and—new this year—drop-in mini-training segments during the 2007 Users Conference.
“This year we’re going to add introductory mini-training segments where users can quickly check out features, see a new technology, or find out about expanded communication options such as the Blackberry Wireless Handheld™ or mobile phones,” said John Conroy, Vice President with MicroMain. “This builds on the popularity of our drop-in Computer Lab held every year during the conference.
“Users enjoy coming to the Lab at their convenience to meet one-on-one with trainers and receive hands-on help at their own workstation,” he added. “Users also tell us they really appreciate being able to choose from a wide range of training opportunities at the conference.”
At MicroMain’s 2007 Users Conference, users will benefit not only from educational sessions, but also networking opportunities with users and guests from all over the world.
Many users attend the conference regularly to learn, sharpen skills, and enjoy MicroMain’s complimentary events offering Austin-style entertainment and hospitality. “The Live Music Capital of the World,” Austin attracts visitors because of its energetic ambiance. Users who extend their stay this year—for the two-day training course or for vacation—will have the opportunity to experience Austin’s unique Halloween on 6th Street celebration.
This year’s conference will be held at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown, just a few blocks away from the 6th Street entertainment district. Special room rates are available for MicroMain customers. Users Conference discounts are also available for early registration, before September 15, and for current Priority Support Subscribers.
