MicroMain Announces 2009 Users Conference

(April 21, 2009) AUSTIN, TX – MicroMain Corporation, a leading provider of asset and facility management software and services, announced today that its 9th annual Users Conference will be held October 13-14 in Austin, Texas.  MicroMain will host a welcome reception for all users and guests on Monday evening, October 12.

The 2009 conference will be held at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown, two blocks from the 6th Street entertainment district.  Special room rates are available for MicroMain customers.  Discounts on the conference registration fee are also available for early registration, before August 28, and for customers with current maintenance/support subscriptions.

“Many customers expressed interest in the conference this year due to the launch of our new MicroMain Maintenance Management 7.2 version,” said Joe Brummer, Executive Vice President with MicroMain.  “What better way for our users to really educate themselves on our latest products than to be surrounded by the people who not only teach them but also develop them.”

In past years, the conference has attracted users from all over the U.S. and other countries.  The users learn about new software products and features, participate in tutorial training sessions, network with other users, and enjoy MicroMain’s special hospitality events.

Different from most users’ conferences, MicroMain provides a Computer Lab that remains open for the entirety of the conference.  Users enjoy coming to the Lab at their convenience to meet privately with trainers and receive hands-on help at their own workstation. 

After three years of sell-out response, MicroMain will continue to provide a special two-day basic training course following the conference.  This allows users to take what they’ve learned at the conference and expand upon it with training in a classroom environment.

Austin is a popular destination, and many participants arrive early or stay late a few extra days to enjoy the “Live Music Capital of the World.” Users who extend their stay this year – whether for the two-day basic training course, a special company gathering, or for vacation – will have the opportunity to experience more of Austin’s cultural, recreational and entertainment offerings.
