MicroMain Announces 2005 Users Conference
5th Annual Conference Will Focus on Customer Appreciation
(June 23, 2005) AUSTIN, TX— MicroMain Corporation, a leading provider of asset and facility management software and services, today announced that its 5th annual Users Conference will be held October 18-19 in Austin, Texas. A special reception will be held the evening of October 17, as well, to welcome users and guests arriving that day.
Attendance at MicroMain’s Users Conference has grown steadily since the first conference in 2000. For the first time ever, the 2004 Users Conference sold out. Last year, MicroMain users and partners arrived from 22 states and countries including Canada, Mexico, Germany, South Africa, and Switzerland.
“Our customers have supported the Users Conference from Day One, and it’s our pleasure to offer special customer appreciation activities throughout our fifth annual Users Conference,” said Joe Brummer, Vice President of Marketing with MicroMain. “Each year our users tell us how much they enjoy the conference, and we intend to make this 2005 conference the best yet.”
In addition to a Customer Appreciation evening, including dinner and entertainment, this year’s conference will include special recognition of customers, fifth-anniversary celebrations, and more one-on-one educational opportunities for users.
The 2005 Users Conference will include general and breakout sessions, round-table discussions, training sessions, and one-on-one Q&A in the hands-on computer lab. Users will also have opportunities to share the ways they use MicroMain’s software within their organizations.
The conference’s educational opportunities will focus primarily on MicroMain XM™, the company’s computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) , MicroMain FM™, the company’s computer aided facility management (CAFM) system, and supporting software modules. In addition, the 2005 conference will feature MicroMain XM for Healthcare, the industry-specific system introduced earlier this year. Users will also be able to preview XMi, MicroMain’s .NET-connected enterprise asset management (EAM) system.
MicroMain’s 2005 Users Conference will be held at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown in the heart of the city. Special room rates are available for MicroMain customers. User Conference discounts are also available for early registration and for users with a current Priority Support Subscription.
