MicroMain Obtains GSA Schedule Contract
Government Agencies Can Now More Easily Acquire MicroMain's
Maintenance and Facility Management Software
(February 28, 2005) AUSTIN, TX — MicroMain Corporation, a leading provider of asset and facility management software and services, today announced that it was awarded a U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) schedule contract. MicroMain’s software is now available to federal, state, and local agencies through GSA Schedule 70, IT Products and Services, Contract Number GS-35F-0308R .
GSA schedules give government agencies expedited access to products and services from commercial vendors. The addition of MicroMain’s software to GSA Schedule 70 enables agencies to acquire comprehensive maintenance and facility management solutions cost-effectively and quickly.
All of MicroMain’s products are available through the new GSA schedule contract. MicroMain XM ™, the company’s flagship computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)/enterprise asset management (EAM) system, will help government agencies benefit from asset preservation, equipment readiness, and maintenance operations improvements. Government agencies will also improve facility management, including space planning and move management, with the company’s MicroMain FM™ computer aided facility management (CAFM) system.
MicroMain’s current public sector customers often utilize additional modules in the MicroMain XM and MicroMain FM system suites. Modules extending base functionality include xmMOBILE, for PDA- and Pocket PC-based work orders and inspections, xmWEB for Web-based work requests, and fmWEB for distribution of data-enabled facility drawings via the Web.
