Tools
Tools needed for work orders are recorded in MicroMain. You can see tool information, status, and usage in reports, as well as tools assigned to work orders and tools by property.
In addition to this basic information, you can use MicroMain Tool Tracking to keep more detailed records of tool location, inventory, possession, and transactions. This ensures that the right tools are available when needed, which can improve response time and productivity.
Tool Tracking gives you a simple way to track who has which tools, how many tools have been issued, and what tools have not been returned on time. You can also identify who last used a specific tool. New tools, destroyed tools, and lost tools are also maintained in your tool inventories.
All tool transactions—for individual tools and toolholders—are recorded. You can also see detailed tool information such as cost, serial number, model, and manufacturer of each tool. If desired, you can also print receipts for tools, collect deposits, and charge for lost tools.
Reports on tools, toolholders, related assets, and transactions can help you analyze and improve your tool management.
