Keys
MicroMain Key Tracking allows you to improve security by keeping track of all of your keys. You can identify who has which keys and record the number of keys issued and returned—whether to staff, clients, contractors, or tenants. You can also assign keys to buildings, rooms, equipment and vehicles, and monitor access to those assets.
Key Tracking automatically records each transaction for each key and keyholder to create a detailed audit log. This log is useful not only for liability purposes but also for immediate identification of outstanding keys and persons accountable for those keys.
If desired, you can issue receipts for keys, charge for replacement keys, and track key deposits. If you have a multi-level key control system, master key information is stored in a master key list; master keys are automatically noted as “also operates on” for appropriate assets. Individual change keys—one key operating one asset—are maintained in their own list, as are “keyed alike” keys—one key operating more than one asset.
All key data, including key bittings and serial numbers, is recorded. Reports let you see this detailed information, as well as keyholder, key transaction, and summary key information.
